Geneva Ann Navarro

Geneva Ann Navarro passed away on April 29, 2017 at the age of 42. She was born on November 26, 1974 in Taft, TX to Antonio Cortez and Martha Garcia. Geneva was an avid reader and loved her plants and flowers. She was very proud of her Native American heritage and instilled this pride in her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio “Tony” Cortez and grandson, Samuel Hernandez Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of almost 26 years, Cecilio Navarro; children, Tony Rosalez, Miranda (Samuel) Navarro, Alyssa Navarro, Jestini Zepeda-Pineda and Autumn Raayne Navarro. Geneva also leaves behind her grandchildren, Shayla Luzette Rosalez, Natalie’Rae Geneva Hernandez, Peyton Nyeli Hernandez and Mason Cecilio Hernandez; mother, Martha Garcia; siblings, Lisa Zepeda, Michael Rosalez, Leticia (David) Cruz and Rudy Rosalez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Chapel Services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
