Felipe Jesus Molina

Felipe Jesus Molina, 74, passed away on March 12, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas, He was born on May 1, 1929 in Knott, Texas to Jesus Molina and Nicolasa Rey. Felipe Molina enlisted into the United States Navy at the age of sixteen. He served sixteen years in the Navy with the rank of Master Chief. He enrolled at Texas A&I University in Kingsville, TX where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1976. Upon graduation, Felipe was employed by The Texas Workforce Commission where he assisted many veterans of our community. He retired from the TWC in 2001 and later open his own Tax Consulting Business (FJ Bus & Tax Consulting).

In June 11th, 1960, Felipe married the love of his life, Maria Elena Correa. Felipe will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He always supported his children by participating in Boy Scouts, coaching baseball and enjoyed taking them fishing. His grandchildren were always his pride and joy. He was a devoted Catholic who volunteered for many years at the fish fries at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Nicolasa Molina; brothers Guadalupe Molina, Tereso “Ted” Molina; sisters, Maricala Macias, Lousia Molina, Petra Leos and Augustina Vegil.

Felipe leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 53 years Maria Elena Molina; sons, Felipe Molina Jr. of Cleveland, Texas, Miguel (Christina) Molina of Middleburg, Florida, Enrique “Henry” (Sylvia Ann) Molina of Kingsville, Texas, Richard (Linda) Molina of Brownsville, Texas, Benito (Elaine) Molina of Austin, Texas, Francisco (Tina) Molina of Pflugerville, Texas; one daughter, Virginia (Cruz) Cantu of Benavides, Texas; 16 grandchildren, Melissa Ann Molina, Elizabeth Molina, Enrique Molina, Jr., Richard Molina, Jr., Katherine Ashley Robledo, Jonathan Andrew Molina, Joshua Anthonyt Molina, Daniel Robert Molina, Joshua Daniel Fedderly, Jeremy Charles Fedderly, Tanya Elizabeth Fedderly, Miguel Molina, Jr., Jesus Simon Molina, Felipe Jesus Molina,III, Paul Medez , Anita Lang; 10 great-grandchildren, James Lucas Robledo, Gabriel Alexander Robledo, Jesse Lucas Robledo, Jr., Walker Henry Molina, Damien Jesus Molina, Diamond Danielle Molina, Lilly-Ann Faith Bentura, Rowan Michael Fedderly, Savannah Lang, and Wyatt Lang.

Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel- Memorial Holly 3442 Holly Rd. from 4:00 pm. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. with Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Enrique Molina, Jr., Jonathan Andrew Molina, Joshua Anthony Molina,

Elizabeth Molina, Katherine Ashley Robledo, Daniel Robert Molina, Tanya Elizabeth Fedderly and Melissa Ann Molina.
