Eloisa G. Moya

Eloisa G. Moya, 76, of Corpus Christi, joined the lord Sunday, November 19th, 2023, at her home peacefully. She was born on December 13, 1946, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Carlos Garza and Beatrice Serrato, and was raised by Juan De Dios Garza and Maria Del Refugia Torres Garza.

Our mother’s heart, full of “LOVE” to those she knew and to those she met along the way. She will be remembered for her fun loving and energetic spirit and her deep devotion to her family.

Eloisa is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos Garza, Beatrice Serrato, Juan De Dios Garza and Maria Del Refugia Torres Garza; her sisters, Irma Garza Paz, Mary Sanchez, Cleo Elizondo and Maria Garza; her brothers, Joe Garza, Louis Garza, Candelario Garza, John Garza, Marcus Garza, and Carlos Garza.

Eloisa is survived by her one son, Jesus G. (Michelle) Moya III; four daughters, Diann (Efrain) Rodriguez Jr., Deborah (Frank) Sanchez, Denise (Joe Alfonso) Ramos, and Dina Moya, all of Corpus Christi; Fifteen grandchildren, Jesse Christian Moya, Benjamin M. Moya, Christopher Wisinski, Eustacio Cantu, Anthony Cantu, Eryn Cantu, Electrah Cantu, Ashley Arlene Rodriguez, Efrain Jesus Rodriguez, Manuela Marino, Alexandria Rose Sanchez, Amber Maree Sanchez, Joe Alfonso Ramos Jr., Brianna Nicole Ramos, and Jesus Arturo Ramos; four great-grandchildren, Joe Anthony Ramos, Sebastian Nate Ramos, Anthony Brian Cantu, and Jaziel Luis Torres.

The family expresses deep gratitude to the Del Cielo Hospice team for their tender care during our mother’s final days.

A public visitation for Eloisa will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 beginning at 5:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery. An interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
