On behalf of our mother we would like to give a very special thanks to Nicholas Ruiz and Sage Peña, two very special children that brightened her life especially on her darkest days. We would also like to thank Josefa Gomez and Tina Rodriguez for their friendship. To Julie Garcia for the two years she lived in our home and helped us care for her. Also for her very cherished granddaughter and goddaughter Ashly Nicole Peña - their memories were endless. One of Edna’s greatest joys was being Ashly's grandmother. From the moment she came into her life, she loved every minute spent with her and rejoiced in her personal, work, and academic successes. Before she went for eternal rest Ashly gave her the greatest Mother’s Day by visiting her from Houston, taking her to go visit her mother at the cemetery and celebrating her motherhood.
Also we would like the thank all the staff at Gentiva Hospice especially Isabel, Rosalinda, Rosie, Paula and Carla. And last but not least our Pastor Fr. Bob Dunn and all the staff at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
