She graduated from Roy Miller High School class of 1958. She was employed at Julian Gold for many years before she decided to stay home and volunteer. She loved decorating her home for all seasons and enjoyed hosting family gatherings. She welcomed everyone into her home. Loved traveling with friends and family. She was everyone’s “Momo”. She also loved playing Bunco with friends. She will be dearly miss by her family and friends
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Joe P. Montoya; her daughter Debbie Garza; Father Juan Joslin and Mother Margarita Q. Joslin.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by Brother,John Joslin (Amelia); Son Joe Montoya (Diane); Daughter Martha Yanez (Rene); Grandchildren; David Hinojosa (Gloria), Daniel Hinojosa (Toni), Jessica Garza (Anthony Escalante), Stephanie Montoya and Jose Zuniga. One Great Grandchild,Mark Escalante Jr.; Niece Jennifer Chapa (David) and Nephew, John Joslin III.
A special thank you to “her girls” at Garden Estates who gave her extra special care. Where she was crowned Mardis Gras Queen. She was everyone's friend and never missed a bingo.

A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
