Cipriana M. Gonzalez

She was a teacher for 33 years in the West Oso Independent School District. She also earned her Master’s Degree in 1983. She was a faithful catholic and member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. She spent many times there volunteering for SSCM school, where her daughter, Dora, was a teacher for 6 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Gonzalez and her sister, Crecenciana Ramon.

Surviving family members are her sisters, Magdelena Estrada (Don), Celia Lawrence (Jim, deceased); brothers, Nicolas Martinez (Cruz), Frank Martinez (Chelo, deceased); son, George Edward Gonzalez Jr.; daughters, Patricia Gonzalez (Jesus) and Dora Grantham (Andy), and her precious grandchildren, Novia Williams (Jeremy), Marcus Morales (Kristina), Matthew Benavidez (Karen), Martin Morales (Grace), and Taylor Marie Grantham. She had too many friends and family members to list who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
