Aurora Sosa Lopez, 82, passed away on October 11, 2015. She was born on April 9, 1933 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Pablo and Luciana Sosa. Aurora was a woman of strong faith and belief. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and grandma. She will always be remembered for her beautiful personality and loving, sincere heart. Aurora is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan D. Lopez. She is survived by her six children, Gracie (Manuel) Sandoval, Margie Lopez, Yolanda Lopez, Rosalie Lopez, Mary Alice Lopez, and Victoria Lopez; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
