Armando C. Cruz Jr.

Armando C. Cruz Jr. passed away on March 27, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born in Corpus Christi, TX on November 10, 1952. Armando was a disabled veteran who served in the U.S. Army for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and was a trainer for the Golden Gloves, concentrating on helping the under privileged youth. He will be missed.

Armando is preceded in death by his parents, Armando C. Cruz Sr. and Olga Hernandez; two grandchildren, Baby Jesse and Baby A.J.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Dina Cruz; children, Mary Cruz, Al (Betty) Cruz, Lisa (Ismael) Ybarra and Frank (Elizabeth) Cruz; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings, Gloria (Kevin) Stroud, Irma Cruz, Daniel (Sylvia) Cruz, Ray (Sylvia) Cruz, Gracie (Richard) Casarez, Orlando Cruz and John (Becky) Cruz along with numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Duncan Cemetery.
