Antonio A. Martinez

Antonio enjoyed to go fishing and watch Houston Astros, most of all he loved to go dancing with the love of his life. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army.

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Herlinda Martinez and brother, Juan Martinez. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Delfina Martinez; his children, Isabel Saldana, Yolanda Cantu (Abel), Diana Gonzales (Juan), Antonio Martinez, Jr. (Lydia), Beatrice Castro and Rosie Davila (Carlos Perales). He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jesse, Joe, Johnny, Jeremy Saldana, Abel Cantu Jr., Juan Gonzales, Eric Martinez and Carlos Castro Jr.
