Angela was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother known affectionately to all as “Guela”. She married Ladislado Molina on June 14, 1946; in their early years of marriage she and her husband spent their days tending to livestock and gardening in order to build a family ranch for their children. Today San Pablo Ranch still exists as an oasis for her family as they continue to preserve her hard work, often seeking refuge from the hot Texas sun under one of the numerous mesquite trees Angela planted with her own two hands. Her love of nature didn’t stop there, she would collect berries and prickly pears to make preserves for the enjoyment of all. Thanks to Angela’s amazing cooking skills, she has been able to pass down her expertise and create a family tradition of making tamales every Christmas. As her children became grown, she spent her leisure time enjoying the fruits of her life’s work, which on San Pablo Ranch means evening walks, collecting oddly shaped rocks, playing scrabble, and hand quilting. Although she was an incredible cook and gardener, it is her unwavering faith in God that had the greatest impact on all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ladislado (Tanis) Molina; daughter, Yolanda M. Anderson; parents, Jose and Maria Almaguer; sister, Benedita De Los Santos.
She is survived by her children Sylvia Guerrero (Frank), Irma Gloria Kralik (David), Elma Jimenez (Xavier), Ladislado Molina Jr.; sister, Maria Guadalupe Griffin; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
