She passed away on February 16, 2020. Amy was 38 years old at the time of her death. She was raised in Portland, Texas where she attended school from kindergarten through high school. She was very friendly with all walks of Life. Amy adored her grandmother dearly.
Amy Ann touched a lot of people throughout her life, in her work environment at the Art Museum and her job at the lounge where she worked for a decade. Amy took care of her grandmother, Mrs. Catarina Hinojosa until Amy’s passing. She leaves behind lots of loving families, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She would go to all her children’s events in school. She supported all nieces and nephews in events as well. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. “Until we meet again in heaven” Amy we love you.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Domingo Hinojosa, Her uncle, Domingo Hinojosa, Jr, and her Aunt Emelia Hinojosa Saldana, her paternal grandparents, Robert H. Lemos Sr. and Delia Godoy Lemos, her aunt Delia Ann Godoy Gomez and her uncle George Lemos.
She loved her three children that have been left behind; Juan Barboza, III, Allyssa Barboza, and Angelina Barboza. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Irma H. Lemos and Robert G. Lemos, Jr. along with her siblings, Anastasia Lemos Smith, Robert Lemos, III and Conrad Stephen Lemos.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel from 2pm until 5pm with a rosary to be recited 3:00 p.m.
