Wendy Kathryn Hendricks

Wendy Kathryn Hendricks went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2024. She was born February 8, 1971, and in her 53 years, she touched her family and countless friends with her warmth, humor, loyalty, and love. She is survived by her mother, sister, brother-in-law, godson and his family, and a large extended family.

Wendy grew up on the beaches of Naples, Florida and in the Midwest. She studied travel and tourism and began her career in the beauty of Colorado. She moved into retail and enjoyed fond years of living in San Francisco, where she developed life-long friendships. She moved to DC and then to Newport Beach, where she resided until her passing.

Wendy enjoyed her final years surrounded by the beauty of Newport Beach. These were special years of walking the beach, connecting with friends and family, and celebrating her faith. By this faith, we know that God has transferred Wendy out of this world and “into the kingdom of the Son he loves” (Colossians 1:13), where she is forever at home (John 3:16).

Wendy had a gift of making the lives of everyone around her more beautiful and more enjoyable. She will be remembered for her witty humor, her beauty and smile, her kindness, and her well-rounded knowledge of music, movies, people, and events. Her uplifting nature, warm presence, and love made us all better and made life more enjoyable. We will miss her immensely until we meet again.
