Ron was born on March 6, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the first child of Aileen and Ralph Noble. Ron was raised by his grandparents and mother in both Iowa and Colorado until age 4 when his father came home from the service. They moved to La Crescenta and Glendale, California when he was 5. Ron attended Marl Keppel Elementary School, Toll Junior High and Hoover High School where he graduated in the class of 1960.
Ron attended community college before he went on to the University of Southern California to study Business. On February 15, 1964, Ron met Edith Forsnas on a blind date. They were married on September 25, 1965. Ron served in the army from 1966-1968. After their time stationed in Virginia, Ron and Edith moved back to Glendale, California where they lived for 45 years. They had a son, David and a daughter, Michelle. While in Glendale, Ron worked in the savings and loan industry and mortgage finances.
In 2013, they packed up and moved down to Newport Beach to live on Balboa Island. Ron spent his retired years watching his two children and their families of five granddaughters thrive and grow. He loved spending time with friends, neighbors and his family. Ron and Edith continued to travel to all parts of the world. He loved his ceramics classes and time at the American Legion and just enjoyed being by the beach. Ron passed away in Newport Beach on January 2, 2023. Ron is survived by his wife, Edith, their two children, David and Michelle and 5 granddaughters. Ron is also survived by his two younger brothers, Dennis and Roger Noble and their families.
