Mary was born February 14th, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri to Mary Evelyn George and James Holmes and was raised by her adoptive parents Helen Marie George and Kenneth Lee Sperry. She met and married Vincent James Saunders in Costa Mesa, California.
Mary is survived by her husband, Vincent Saunders, her sons Kenneth, Steven, Andrew and Brett, her daughters Sherry, Melissa, and Leslie and a bundle of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Helen and her brother Herbert James.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, quilting, holiday family gatherings and spending any time she could get with children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
A funeral service for Mary will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Pacific View Mortuary, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, CA 92625.
Following the funeral service will be a graveside blessing at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, CA 92625.
