Oh Karen .💜💜💜…. Who would ever know that this could happen because you were always so happy happy happy…. you had a beautiful Boisterous laugh  and I can still hear it💜….. and that look you would get in your eyes when you were thinking about something devious lol….. you were always so happy… you are missed  you are missed you are missed 💜❤️💜🎶✡️

As I sit here, I cannot imagine that I will never spend another day nursery hopping and  buying excessive amounts of plants, books, pottery with my sister, Karen.  We had so much fun together! 

Karen loved nature and was always excited for any adventure outside.  I drove out to Tree of Life Nursery today.  On the beautiful, curving road lined with oaks, sycamores and wildflowers, I cried because I will miss her terribly.   

I couldn't help but think that it is perfect that we are celebrating her life on a day with a full moon.  The full moon shining bright, keeping nature in harmony and balance, amplifying emotions.   I know she will be looking down smiling and letting me know she will be with me, whenever I am out in nature.  I love you little sister.  I will see you one day again.

Sweet Aunt Karen. You truly were one of a kind. You had such a kind heart, soul and spirit that shined so bright when you walked in. So full of love. You were so loved. You gave us our sweet Jinxie girl that we cherish so much. Kaelyn adores her. She was the missing piece we didn’t know we needed. I know how much you always loved seeing pictures of her on facebook. You will be missed and I wish I got to see you more. You never know how much you take for granted the missed opportunities to spend time with your loved ones until they are gone. You will never be forgotten. You truly will live on forever in our hearts and left such a beautiful lasting impression on so many lives. Xoxo

My mom was more than just my mom, she was my best friend, she was my everything.  I will miss her everyday, especially when I go to call her like I normally did when I needed to talk. Her comforting unconditional love she always gave me when I needed her the most is irreplaceable. I know she will always watch over me, she will be the sun to my days and the moon light to my nights. She will always be by my side until I can come be by hers again. I love you Mommy, I was blessed to have you and wouldn't be me without you.

I am sad little sister, so sad. I'm sad things weren't different for us.  I'm sad your smile and silly, devilish giggle are gone. I'm sad you suffered so much pain. I'm sad for your children and grandchildren. I hope that wherever you are, the reggae is playing, a soft ocean breeze is blowing in your face and you are smiling your beautiful smile. My grandma is and will always be one of my favorite people in this world. There is no one like her. She will always be in my heart. I love you so much grandma 🤍

Karen and I spent a lot of time together. She was never boring, always full of life, fun to be with. I miss her warmth, she was a loving person with a good sense of humor. I will truly miss her.

Karen was one of the best reggae 
promoters  out there for the time she did it. She was also a huge staple in the So Cal reggae scene. I loved working for her especially Club One Drop in Long Beach back in the day.  She was an even better friend or more like a big sister to me. She always said I was like a little brother. Rest Easy fam. See you when I get there.

First of all, my sincere sympathy to Stephen, Sarah, the grandkids. and the rest of the family.
Back 25 years ago, we were going to reggae every weekend. Queen Mary, Doheny, Raggamuffin Festival, San Francisco, Kingston 12, The West End, Golden Sails, Club Nutmeg, etc.
Karen lived large and always had a big smile and warm hug for everyone. 
Great memories for sure.

My  condolences to the family. 
Karen was a wonderful person and human being who I had the pleasure of meeting through music. We connected through Reggae and the Rhythm Lounge and many Long Beach events throughout the years. She will be missed throughout the reggae and music community.

We were very close and we had good times together while I was doing a gig with The Twinkle Brothers and Della Grant 2009 In San Diego. When I got the news from Betzi! I was shocked and I start crying! I'm going to miss you so much and I don't have the funds to book a ticket to fly for the Funeral.  You'll always be in my heart and In my thoughts forever.
