Aunt Bette always modeled being "faith-filled" as she always demonstrated her love for the Lord through so many loving acts of service to all she knew! I will always remember her at my sink helping mash the potatoes before holiday meals and back at the sink washing dishes after "shooing" me out while she and Aunt Boots took over! She was always "fun-loving" smiling, dancing, singing and even swooping up Richard when he was a little boy all dressed up for Audrey and Papa's 40th Wedding Anniversary and dancing to the music with him in her arms! I will always remember that she was always "friend-seeking" and had an outward outlook - always seeking to make others happy. It was wonderful to hear the stories of from her neighbors on Lido at her memorial. Jesus said, "Love you neighbor, as you love yourself." She DID! Finally, she was always "family-oriented"! Her family received 100 percent of her love, time, prayers, and servant heart. I know when she arrived in Heaven, the Lord Jesus said, "Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the Joy of the Lord!" May His love, joy, and peace be with all of you, her family, in this time of loss knowing that you will see her again.
