Dara will always be with us in spirit. What an incredible spirit she had – so loving, so generous and kind. And she was funny! She made me crack up all the time with her fun quick insights. She had this little laugh that sort of went from heart to head which was just so connective. There was no doubt she was listening, processing… She did that – gave attention and care to people, conversations, the planet, the universe. She wasn’t afraid to call of BS, but did it with LOVE.
And the love, so much love, she had for her daughters and husband. I remember once we were cruising a music festival in Palm Beach when she had no choice but to pop in the restroom. She asked – apprehensively, maybe even suspiciously – she asked if I’d keep an eye on Darian and Delana for a sec. Happily, I’d said. When she returned she overheard a passing woman tell me how beautiful the children were. Because the lady was moving so quickly I just said, “thanks” and from behind I heard, “Hey! Those are MY girls!” ha! Her love for her family was so beautiful. Dan, Darian and Delana – I’m so incredibly heartbroken for you all. Her love for you was everything. 
Dara was my light during our stint in Florida. When she arrived, so did a special friend. I’ll miss you, Dara.
