We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Yolanda's passing and hope you all find comfort and peace in your memories; for me, they are many and happy and somehow centered around food! Remember all the huge family dinners on Ninth St when there were so many of us we had to eat in rotating shifts. I have no idea how Aunt Yolanada and her sisters and sisters-in-law pulled it off! I'll always remember how she used to make the older, male cousins kneel down to speak to her and will never forget watermelon seed spitting contests, singing and dancing in her kitchen, her pet groundhog, and her great laugh. Rest in peace💗

She was a very fun young lady to work with at the Freeholder. Always pleasant and smiling. She could handle the workload as well as the kids.  God gave and received back a very good woman. 


My aunt and godmother had a heart of gold and would do everything to help everyone she new.  
She loved her family and grand children so much. 
I will miss her smile, her humor and laughter.

Have lots of great memories of aunt Yolanda but one stands out the most is when my dad took in Pal and he pied on the kitchen table leg she just laughed she was a great lady and will be missed by all Our deepest sympathies to Gino and Chico and family.

This just happened a few months aunt Yolanda wanted a butterscotch pie because she couldn’t bake anymore so I asked her for the receipt and I would make it at her place well she said she couldn’t find it so I went and got one made that day it was snowing and blowing but I brought her the pie so the next day I asked her if she like it she said it doesn’t taste like mine oh  I was not happy after going threw the snow storm but I think she ate anyway.

I have a lot of memories I can share .This one stands out the most . My first car I owned was a blue Volkswagen .Aunt Yolanda And My Mom we were on an outing and she use to always say that I drove like a maniac .So instead of taking them home I decided I would take them for a joy ride .I sure did take them for a ride .It was on a country road with hills and every time I would go over a hill her head would hit the roof. I was laughing so much and they were  so pissed with me .But it as all in fun and she said she would never drive with me again .But of course they did drive with me again . Love you Aunt Yolanda ❤❤

I shared many great memories with Aunt Yolanda but one in particular comes to mind when I was about 10 years old . Aunt Yolanda was the security guard in the women’s washroom at the old Si Miller arena and she would take me to all the events . At 10 years old wrestling was the main event. One Saturday night I was sitting where I usually sat right above the visitors dressing room , and that was where the wrestling villains would be. This one particular Saturday night the Wild Samoans were in town and if anyone’ remembers them they would carry horse whips and snap it into the crowd . So after there match  they were coming back to the dressing room and people were heckling them , so they decided to run into the crowd with there wipes flying. I never saw Aunt Yolanda move so fast to grab me and drag me into the ladies washrooom . It was a very scary scene especially for a 10 year old , but she was able to turn it all around so I was able to calm down.

Thank you Aunt Yolanda for all the great memories, you were one of a kind and you will be deeply missed .
