EMORY, WILLIAM VERNON – peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center, on Thursday September 27, 2018. William Vernon Emory of Cornwall; age 88 years. Cherished husband of Evelyn Ann Emory and predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth Ann Reid. Loving father of Michael Emory (Belkis), Karen Daley (Michael), Suma Kelsang and Leslie Emory and step father to Evelyn’s children, Carole Despatie (Steve) and Pierre Despatie (Gina). Dear grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Noreen Jackson and his parents Vernon Emory and Leila Adams. William was a proud, long time dedicated employee and well respected manager at Domtar Inc. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, EAST BRANCH, 614 First St. East (613-933-2841). In keeping with William’s wishes there will be no visitation or Funeral, a private Celebration of Life will occur at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
