Deneault, Stella (Lalonde) – At the Woodland Villa on Saturday March 24, 2018. She was 106. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Deneault. Dear mother of Wildrid Jr.“Lou“ (Fran), Léo (Diane) (late Rena), Thérèse McCabe (Robert), Jeannette Taillon (late Roger), Henri “Joe“ (Rita), Lucienne “Lucy“ Peterson (late Wilfred), Jeanne “Speedy“ Snider (Maurice), Noel“Boze“ (Elfie), Hélène“La Petite“ Day (Marlin), Richard (Geraldine), Rita Burton (Émile) and Cécile “Murph“ Pickup (Patrick). Sadly missed by 38 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, 39 great-great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great-great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Rita Mitchell, Ida Thibeault, and Nelda Coté. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Sophrina (Carriere) Lalonde , 7 brothers, Alfred, Ernest, Réné, Raymond, Percy “Sam“, Herbert, Romain “Hamm“ and 5 sisters, Parmelia “ Pearl“ Laviolette, Evelyn Beauvais, Louisa “Baz“ Whitford, Romona Lalonde and Florance Lalonde. Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Thursday from 10-11 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11 am in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Inurnment at Notre Dame Cemetery, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations (by cheque) to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
