Rose Marie Quenneville-Legault

1932 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Rose-Marie at St. Joseph’s Villa on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 91.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Legault. She is the dear mother of Dr. Danielle Legault and she was predeceased by her son, Sylvain Legault. Rose-Marie was the daughter of the late Leonel Quenneville and the late Alice Lauzon.

She was the loving sister of Annette Cooper (Corgan), Raoul “Queenie” Quenneville (Sharron), Jacqueline “Jackie” Quenneville, Jean Sturgeon, Denise Gagnon (Richard), Lionel Quenneville (Rose), and Diane Bergeron (Kenneth).

Rose-Marie was predeceased by her sisters Dorilla Quenneville, Doriane Proulx (late Victor), her brothers Henri (late Charmaine), Adelard (late Margaret), and Marcel Quenneville (late Sylvia).

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

As per Rose-Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, (613) 938-1039 across from City Hall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, Tollgate Road, Cornwall, Ontario on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 am. If so desired, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center in Rose-Marie’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
