Peacefully at Chartwell Lancaster Long Term Care Residence on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Chèr mari (beloved husband) of Cécile (née Lalonde). Chèr père (loving father) of Jacques Rivet (Wendy), Manon Rivet and Gérald Rivet. Chèr pepère (cherished grandfather) of Kayla and Lucas. Lastly, but just as important, he will be missed by his loyal companion and friend Peewee, his loving pooch. Loving brother of Fr. Laurier Rivet and Annette Dicola. Predeceased by his parents Hormidas and Hermine (née Hebert) Rivet and by sisters Thérèse, Denise, Jeanne, Rita, Florette, Cécile.
