Nelsa grew up in South Lancaster, where her family restaurant was a local destination for years. She maintained her love for the area, summering at the family cottage on Lake St. Francis, indulging in her dogs, perch rolls, antiquing, reading bios and trips to Montreal. A Gold Life Master in bridge, she spent years as a member of the Cornwall Community Bridge Club, later as President. She was a longtime fashion consultant at Sears, where she spent 31 years.
She will be forever missed by her loving husband David, her children Annie (John), Nelson (Alison), Nick (Rebecca), and Shannon as well as five grandchildren, Quinn, Nolan, Callum, Brennan, and Liam. She is also survived by her sister Shannon.
She is predeceased by her parents Nelson, Anastasia and her sister Janet.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in her name to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
