LALONDE, Lucia (Carriere) - At St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Thursday August 11, 2016. She was 98. Beloved wife of the late Lionel Lalonde. Dear mother of Paul Emile Lalonde (Rolande) and the late Rita Leyman. Sadly missed and cherished by her granddaughter Debbie Lavergne, grandchildren, Suzanne Lalonde (Serge Hogan), Louise Lalonde, France Lalonde, great grandchildren, Christian Lavergne (Melanie), France Lemire (Marc), Chantal Lavergne, Alexandre, Catherine, Émilie, Vincent, Frédérique, Benjamin, Antoni, Julianne and great great grandchildren, Nicolas, Isabelle and Mia. Predeceased by her parents Gedeon and Celina (Gauthier) Carriere and all of her siblings. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Monday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and Tuesday from 10am – 10:45am. Funeral Liturgy, Tuesday August 16, 2016 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11am. Rite of Committal, St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault, ON.
