HART, Walter Leonard W.W.II R.C.A.F. – Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Cornwall Hospice on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in his 95th year. Walter Leonard Hart, retired employee of Domtar Fine Papers, past president of local 212 for many years, past president R.C.A.F. Wing 424, member of Knights of Columbus and Royal Canadian Legion serving several years on the planning board. Volunteer for many local organizations. The ever loving husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather, friend, his humour and wit and his many stories will be missed. Loving and devoted husband of the late Doris Cashion (2002). Cherished father of Judi (Doug Ryan), Terry (Maureen Baker) and Lisa Hart all of Cornwall. Son of the late Cory Hart and the late Lydia Hart (Stephenson). Predeceased by infant son Richard, sisters Areta Donnelly (Charles), Elizabeth Gawne (Frank) and brother Bill (Frances Brown). A loved and caring grandfather to 9 grandchildren Ashley Baker (John), Chad Paulin (Amy), Jordan Hart (Roxanne), Jana Kilger (Chad), Josh Hart (Kris), Jayna Hart (Jason), Rachelle Shaver (Troy), Dylan Lefebvre (Melissa) and Natasha Lefebvre (Ryan). Special great grandpa to Emily and Alyssa, Minor, Chad Baker, Maia, Isla, Audrey, Beckett Hart, Kennedy, Kaden, Lydia Kilger, Claire Paulin, James Hart, Acadia Parent, Audrey Shaver, Lennon Lefebvre, Haylee Riviere-Roberts and baby to be born in July. Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday May 20, 2014 for Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral.
