Lawrence Michael Hill

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Lawrence Michael Hill, on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at the age of 80. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Marie-Claire Séguin Hill. Loving step-father of Roland Séguin (Anne), Lynn Legault (late Norman), Richard Séguin (Brenda), Bruce Séguin (Joanne), Lyse Chenier (Pierre), Marie-Claire Roy (Clermont) and Maurice Séguin (Suzanne). Loving brother of Nicole Hill (Olivier), also survived by one niece Diane Plante (Marc), one nephew Richard Plante (Denise) and many cousins. Loved by his grandchildren, Stéphane, Lianne, Gilles, Mélanie, Patrick, Michelle, Zacharie, Raymond, Raynald, Rachelle, Michel, Sylvie, Richard, Alain, (late Ti-Jean), Joanne, Chantal and Julie. Cherished and loved by his great-grandchildren, Kloé, Kali, Audrey, Xavier and Myles.

Predeceased by his parents Wilson, Gisèle (née Gélinas) Hill, his brother Normand Hill, his step-son Claude Séguin (Lucille) and his step-daughter Shirley Godard (late Jean Godard).

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Cornwall for the excellent and compassionate care he received during his stay. Special thanks to Pastor Bradley Montsion for the visits, comforting words and many prayers.

Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall Cornwall.

The family will be in attendance on Friday August 12th, 2022 at 10:00am at the Fountaingate Christian Assembly. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00pm at 949 Mohawk Drive (off Tollgate). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Fountaingate Christian Assembly or Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
