My sincere and deepest sympathies to Holly, Gordon and family.  I was so looking forward to visiting Tante Jeanne earlier this summer and having her meet my three girls who happen to all have red hair.   I think she would have like that and perhaps it would have reminded her of her own mother (who was a red head too).  Unfortunately, sudden illness struck our family and we had to cancel our trip.  But I am so lucky to have many of her crafts that remind me of her everytime I look at them.  I will cherish every single item I have for years to come. What a extraordinary life Jeanne lived, she was widowed at an early age and worked so very hard to raise 3 wonderful children.  After retirement, she volunteered for many good causes including the Cornwall hospital.  Even in her nineties she continued her commitment to volunteer with her knitting and making various crafts and decorations which she did so beautifully.  She was a strong, spiritual lady and although life has not been always easy or kind to her family, she never complained but would be positive and make the best of some very difficult circumstances.  She had an amazing memory for what she had seen and accomplished throughout her long life and being such a kind, loving person she leaves so many family and friends to mourn her passing.  Jeanne never ceased trying to learn, keeping current with the latest news and a variety of other interests.  I was so privileged and thankful to have been part of her life, as her son in law for the past 50 years. Love Gordon

My Grandmother was a lovely, caring, giving and funny person. Everyone she meet she inspired and treated with respect which she taught to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She taught me about life, respect and arts and crafts which I will always value. 
 I loved talking and listening to her about her childhood. She was a fascinating woman. 
I will miss my trips with my family to Cornwall to visit her and talk to her about her grandchildren lives near and far.  
My Grandmother touched everyone's lives and will be missed. She will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
