C’est avec beaucoup de tristesse que j’ai appris la nouvelle du décès de Jean Paul.  Je n’ai pu que me rappeler les bons moments passés avec vous deux, pendant que vous habitiez la région de Montréal.  Nous étions tous de nouveaux mariés à cette époque!  Vous avez eu votre premier garçon et nous attendions le nôtre.  Que de beaux moments passés ensemble!  C’était toujours un moment spécial de vous retrouver lors des réunions de famille.
Je garde un excellent souvenir de Jean Paul, de son amour familial, de sa générosité et de sa bonne humeur.  Bon courage, chère Lorraine.  Je vous inclus dans mes prières.

I am so sorry for the loss of one of the friendliest neighbors two kids could have asked for. We will always remember JP sitting out with the dog and inviting us to play on his play structure! 
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Lynn and I were deeply saddened to hear of J.P.'s passing.  For 30 years, you were the best neighbours we could have asked for.   We will always remember him walking around enjoying his property, enjoying his many dogs over the years, and especially enjoying his grandchildren.  Anik and Joel, we are so sorry for the loss of your father.  Lorraine, cherish the wonderful memories you two created over the years.
