Jean Claude "John" Leduc

Loving husband and friend of Colleen Leduc (Edgar) for over 41 years.

Dear son of Thérèse (Terri) (née Lamesse) of Cornwall Island, and dear brother of Gilbert

(Gil) Leduc of Cornwall. Predeceased by his father Germain Leduc. Cherished brother-in-law of Sandra Jackson (late Jerry) of Kingston, Jim Edgar of Kingston, Janice McGillis (Gerry) of Lunenburg, Lorraine Vaughan (Rick) of Williamsburg and Brenda Simser (late Moe) of Brockville and Kathleen Forsyth

(late) he leaves behind his Uncle Marcel Leduc and many cousins. John was a much-loved uncle to his nieces and nephews Jason, Chris, Janina, Malina, Samantha, Emma, Jenny, Zachary, Hannah, Jillian, Anthony, Crystal and Nick as well as his great nieces and nephews.

John was born and raised in Cornwall until his family moved to Finch, ON in 1967. He loved and worked in the meat and grocery business all of his life starting in the family store in Finch and continuing his career into meat sales, management, meat cutter before finally retiring in 2010. John and Colleen enjoyed travelling as much as possible but particularly developed a deep love of Newfoundland, the people, its ruggedness and beauty. John loved the outdoors and had a deep appreciation for nature.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from noon until time of service. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday,

January 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Louis Groetelaars officiating.

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society,

would be appreciated by the family.
