Loving mother of Dennis (Marie) Cole and JoAnne (Robert) Ciralli. Cherished grandmother of Dana, Dari, Charles, Channon, Sarah, Taionwesenhtane and Bobby. Great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandmother to many great-great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Marjorie (late Simon) King and Beatrice (late Russell) Lazore and by brother Philip (late Beatrice) Francis. Daughter of the late Lawrence Francis and the late Christie (Jacobs) Francis. Predeceased by her daughters Charmaine Thompson and Cheryl Johnson and by one grandson Ronald and by brothers Jacob, Louis, Mose, Abraham and Joe (Christie) Thompson and by sisters Charlotte Oakes and Louise Gould. Helen was a kindergarten school teacher at various Akwesasne schools, for over 23 years. She was very active in her Church, St. Regis Catholic Church where she taught Catechism for several years. Resting at Kateri Hall, Hogansburg, N.Y. from 8:30 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015.
