ROY, Gerald Leander - At the Cornwall Community Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday December 13, 2018. He was 83. Loving husband of the late Doreen (Duffy) Roy. Dear father of Norman (Joanne), Wayne (Robin), Gary (Jaymes), Shelley (Wayne) and Steven (Karen). Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by his parents, Clovis and Viola (Primeau) Roy, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass Saturday December 22, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
