CARON, Gerald (Gerry) –At the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge on Sunday, October 6, 2013, Gerald Caron, age 90 went peacefully to join the Lord. Gerald was married to the late Ida Crites (Murphy) on February, 6th, 1954; in St. Columban’s Catholic Church by Rev. R.J. MacDonald. She predeceased him on December 24, 2004. Gerry will be sadly missed by his children Arden Murphy of Victoria BC/Mexico and Mona Trimboli (the late Joseph) of Massena and by his daughter-in-law Lois Murphy of Victoria. Cherished grandfather of Judith Trimboli and Michael (Michelle) Trimboli of Massena, Arlo Murphy of Toronto, Allison Murphy of Vancouver and Lindsey Murphy of Victoria. Great-grandfather of Kelley and Abbey Paduano, Matthew, Grayce, Marlana and Connor Trimboli of Massena. Dear brother of Jeannine Kirkey (late Reginald), Theresa (Leo) Brisson and Suzanne (Sue) MacGregor all of Cornwall and Gaston (Anne) Caron of South Carolina. Sister-in-law Ann Crites of Ingleside and brother-in-law Ronald MacGregor of Cornwall and grandson-in-law Dana Paduano. Fondly remembered by many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Son of the late Donat Caron and the late Agnes (Beaune) Caron. Predeceased by four brothers Leonard, Raymond (Mae), Rheal and Roger Caron and by four sisters Rollande (late Armand) Martel, Gertrude (late Douglas) McKeown, Marie-Claire (late Jean-Claude) Fortin and Noella (late Samuel) Wara. Gerry was a very proud WW II Veteran, having served abroad. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral Thursday, October 10, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columban’s Catholic Church at 2 P.M. Interment, Parish Cemetery. The family will be in attendance on Wednesday from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and on Thursday from 12 noon until time of Funeral. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cornwall Hospice or to the Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, NY would be appreciated by the family.
