ATKINSON, Elizabeth (Betty) – At the Cornwall General Hospital, Second Street site, on Tuesday January 8, 2013; at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Allen Atkinson. Beloved mother of Brian (late Veronica) Atkinson of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Tracy (Dwayne) Gearing, Jennifer, Chantal and James Atkinson, and great grandmother of Melody, Hunter, Elizabelle, Ethan and William. Cherished sister of Patricia Salter (late Bert). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and by her brothers Wilfred and Eric Hansen. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. Monday. A Funeral will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Tuesday January 15, 2013. Cremation, to follow. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from noon until time of Funeral on Tuesday.
