Edward Joseph Whelan

COPAN-WHELAN, Edward Joseph – peacefully, at his daughter and son-in-laws residence with family by his side, on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Edward Copan-Whelan of Cornwall; age 76. Beloved father of Edwin Whalen (Alina Goralczyk) of Montreal, Michelle Chesebro (Robert) of Morrisburg, James Whelan (Ashley Delorme) of Cornwall and Tammy Hammond (Brodie) of London. Proud grandfather of Jason, Max, Megan (B.J.), Sass, Justin, Amelia, Desiré, Harmony, Blake, Alyssa, Jaxon, and great grandchildren Gabriel, Julien and Tienna. Dear brother of Harry Copan (Norma), Jerry Copan, Peggy Whelan, Arthur Whelan, Nicky Whelan and Patrick Whelan. Predeceased by his parents Edward Whelan, Edna McMillan, sisters Edna Copan, Monica Whelan and his brother Thomas Whelan. He will be sadly missed by many friends, nieces and nephews. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 12 Noon Saturday until the time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Agape Center would be appreciated by the family.
