Darlene Heagle MacDonell

“If you are what heaven is made of I am not afraid to die.” Darlene MacDonell (Heagle) left us to join the love of her life, the late Gregory MacDonell on March 17, 2016 at the Cornwall Community Hospital with her loving family by her side. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her children Bonnie (the late Harry MacDonald), Richard “Bim” (Toni), Terry, Debbie Housh (Glenn), Stephen (Sandra) and Timothy (Sharron) and her loving grandchildren Kyle (Cathy), Kacey (Kelly), Stacey (Chris), Travis (Margaret), Konnie (Chris), Kortney (Steve), Joshua (Sarah) and Kristen and her cherished great-grandchildren Karson, Kolton, Hailey, Nolan, Braxton, Willow, Zoee, Karter, Khiya, Jakob, Seth, Mia, Xander and Sam. She will also be dearly missed by her friend Agnes Flaro and cousin Lauretta Dupuis. She is survived by her brother Richard (Micheline) of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Viola (Merpaw) and her grand-daughter Kelly Anne Samson. Gone but never forgotten. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Andrews Church at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
