MITCHELL, Anne “Nan” (née Farquharson) – at Sandfield Place on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Anne Mitchell of Cornwall; in her 94th year. Wife of the late William “Bill” Mitchell. Beloved mother of Ian Mitchell (Marianne), Alison Butterill (Trevor), Don Mitchell (Julie) and Lesley Ellam (Steve). Cherished grandmother of Megan, Dee, Ben, Katie (Christiaan), Laura (Josh), Karen (Josh), Tori (Julian), Kenzie (Tim), Anissa-Beth and Crissy. Adored great-grandmother of Finn, James, Cahlie, Kiara and Dana. Dear sister of John Farquharson (Amelia) and Jean Brown (Jim). Proud daughter of John S. and Gertrude (née Brown) Farquharson of Shanty Bay. As a former teacher at Memorial Park Public School, long standing member of Trinity Anglican Church, Honorary Member of Stormont Yacht Club and former Brown Owl and Girl Guide Captain, our family and the community will miss her. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Funeral Thursday, August 30, 2018 for Service in Trinity Anglican Church at 11 a.m. Burial at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
