Ms. Jenkins died on Monday, December 24, 2012 at her residence. She was born on September 8, 1958 to the late Billy Joe and Lois Barbara Counce Roberson. Teri graduated from Corinth High School in 1976. From there, she attended Northeast Community College in Booneville where she a Tiger Dancer. She then went on to Ole Miss where she was a Rebellete on the dance squad. After obtaining her education, she taught gymnastics in Corinth and surrounding areas 35 years. She was a professional member of MSUSAG and a certified National Womens Association of Gymnastics Judge. She was also the co-owner of Shining Star Gymnastics with her best friend Tonya Miller Duffey.
Teri’s life revolved around her son, Bobby. They lived on their boat at Pickwick Lake all of Bobby’s life. She was a strong and independent woman who took care of her family and friends. She also raised three nephews, Austin, Brandon and Parker, that brought her joy in everything they did. Teri taught countless girls in gymnastics throughout the years and they never forgot their Ms. Teri.
She is survived by her son, Bobby and his wife Heather; two brothers, John Todd and Timothy Joe Roberson; four nephews, Austin, Brandon, and Parker Roberson, and Taylor Jenkins; one niece, Payton Tomlinson; one god-daughter, Brooklyn Miller Duffey; an extended family and a host of friends.
