Nellie Sue passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016, in Newnan, Georgia. Born and raised in Corinth, Mississippi, Sue was an active member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the sanctuary choir. She worked with Timber Hills Mental Health Services for 21 years. For the last 5 years, she was a resident at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and Lillie Robertson; her husband, James Travis Butler, her son, James Neal Butler; brothers Roy, Hubert and Howard Robertson; sisters Vadeen Robertson and Lillian Perry..
Survivors include sons, Phil Butler and wife Janis, Knoxville, TN; Richard Butler and wife Anne, Jackson, MS; daughter Becky Wood, and husband Gary, Atlanta, GA.; daughter-in-law Harriet Butler Kemp and husband Mike, Corinth, MS.; sister Betty Bumpas, Corinth, MS.; sister-in-law Amy Robertson, Corinth, MS; grandsons Brett Butler, Corinth, MS; Rich Butler, Greer, SC; Jim Butler, Gallatin, TN; Andy Butler, Madison, MS; Garrett Wood, Orlando, FL; and Spencer Wood, Atlanta, GA; granddaughter Katie Lokits, Wilmington, NC, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
