Mary Ruth Null Tyson

Celebration of Life service for Mary Ruth Null Tyson 78, are set for 11:00 am Thursday at McPeters Funeral Directors with Bro. Justin Watson officiating and Mark Boehler doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Thursday from 10:00 am to service time

Mary Ruth died August 28, 2021 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1943 in Alcorn Co. MS. To the late Alec and Ethel Killough Null. She was a member of Holly Baptist Church; she retired from Wal-Mart after 25 years, where she was recognized as an outstanding Dept. manager several times. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, making flowers arrangements, working in her yard, decorating and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kendal Tyson; parents; brothers Arnold Null (Ann), Michael Null; sisters, Beatrice Newcomb (J.E.), Imogene Dillingham; sister-in-laws, Joretta Null and Mary Null.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, whom she died on the wedding anniversary Archie Noel Tyson; her children, Randy Tyson (Michelle), David Tyson (Sherry), Kym Tyson; grandchildren, Leslie Evans (Bo), Michael Tyson (Karrie), Timothy Tyson (Kimberly), Chris Tyson (Allie Austin); great grandchildren, Leah and Adam Stallcup, Adallin and Kenndi Tyson; step granddaughter, Miranda Shinn; step-great grandchildren, Wyatt, Deacon and Hazel; brothers, James Aaron Null, Harold Null, Hershell Null, Jerry Null (Millie), Jimmy Null (Daphine); sister-in-law, Shelly Null; brother-in-law, Donald Dillingham; special friends, mark and Dawnie Boehler; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
