Lottie Fay King

A Celebration of Life Service for Lottie Fay King, 87, is set for 1:00 pm Thursday at Pontotoc Apostolic Church in Pontotoc, MS. with Bro. Benny Randolph officiating. Burial will take place at 4:00 pm in the Dogwood Cemetery in Corinth, MS.

Family and Friends gathering will be held 5:00 to 8:00 Wednesday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors in Corinth and Thursday from 11:30 am to service time at Pontotoc Apostolic Church.

Fay died October 9, 2023 at her residence in Tupelo, MS. She was born September 17, 1936 in Guys, TN to the late William Dewey James and Millie Pearl William James. She was a member of Pontotoc Apostolic Church and retired from the IRS office in Tupelo, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne King; sisters, Helen Sellers and Verneal Turner; and brothers, George Freeman James (Ruth), Clifford James (Virginia), William Donald James (Lorraine), Charles James (Raybelle), Warner James (JoAnn) and Richard James (Lucille).

She is survived by her son, Wayne C. King (Rita); daughter, Sonya G. Fisk (Alan); grandchildren, Billy James King (Mindy), Corey Fisk (Stephanie) and Justin Fisk; and three great grandchildren, Jeremy Fisk, Jacob Fisk (Madi) and Jayden Fisk.
