Celebration of Life Service for J K Crum 81, are set for 11:00 AM Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Merl Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Receiving of family and friends for J K will be held Sunday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, from 10:00 AM to service time at Memorial Funeral Home.
J K died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born January 29, 1939 in Alcorn Co. MS. to the late Victor and Bertha (McDowell) Crum. He was a lifetime member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, were he taught Sunday school and was song leader for many years. He was a graduate of Alcorn Agriculture High School, he worked 32 years at ITT, was employed at Briggs, and then retired from Engineer Plastic. He was a 32 degree Mason, he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his church family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Adron Crum; sister, Bobbie Faye Robinson; father-in-law, Raymond Bray.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Shelia Crum of Corinth, MS.; son, Greg Moore (Brandy) of Rogersville, Al.; daughter, Donna Sowers (Chuck) of Corinth, MS.; grandchildren, Lauren Briggs Mosley (Brad), Madison Briggs Hudson (Cody), Taylor Moore; great grandchildren, Jakob Fisher Mosley, Elizabeth Hudson; mother-in-law, Lona Mae Bray; nephew, Tommy Crum (Sue); niece, Millie Mayo; sister-in-law, Charlotte Mills; and a host of other family and friends.
