Danny "Payday" McCreless

Celebrations of Life service for Charles Danny “Payday” McCreless are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 to service time.

Danny died January 13, 2018 at his residence. Retired from James Newcomb Trucking where he was employed for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching “the Duke” and playing slots at home on his computer. But the most enjoyment he got out of his life was spending time with his Grandkids & they all loved their time with him because they knew he would let them do whatever they wanted to do.

He was preceded in death by his son Charles Danny “Boo” McCreless Jr.; parents, Hubert Charles McCreless and Josephine Smith McCreless; sisters, Judy Petree, Nina Trawick.

He is survived by his wife Wife, Joyce McCreless; his children, April Bradley (James) , Shelley Hollins (Johnny), Shane McCreless (Ginger), Dewayne McCreless (Kim); Sisters, Mary Kent Allred (Johnny), Carolyn Pittman; Grandchildren, Lauren McCreless, Madison McCreless, Mitchell McCreless, Megan Barkley, Jordan Barkley , Elijah Barkley , Dylan Bradley , Jayme Bradley, Drew Bradley, Courtney Moss , Katie Moss, Kameron McCreless, Bailey McCreless; Great Grandchildren, Preston Brooks , Lilly Moss; special niece, Charlotte Pittman; host of other nieces, nephews family and friends.
