Billy W. Jones

A Celebration of life service for Billy Wayne Jones, 74, are set for 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at John’s Cemetery. Sis. Susie Barnett will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Wednesday from 12 noon until service time.

Billy passed away on March 5, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Alcorn County on November 30, 1947 to the late J.D. and Madie Jones. He enjoyed working in his garden and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Wanda Jones; brothers, J.L. Jones, Aaron Jones, and Garlon Jones; mother-in-law, Lucille James; and father in law, Johnny James.

Billy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Jones; son, Justin Jones; sisters, Doris Haynie, Mary Wilbanks, Effie Davis (Paul); brother, Jimmy Jones (Diane) all of Corinth; brother in law, Rickey James (Debbie) of Corinth; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Keith Davis, Perry Davis, Timmy James, Brandon Jones, Bradley James and Riley Jones.
