Having attended John’s Celebration of Life, I am so sorry I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing this extraordinary man.   His kindness, generosity, love, laughter and lust for life seemed to be boundless.  Prayers that all who were a part of his life will keep him alive in all the fabulous memories you shared. 


John and I spent a lot of time together working; sometimes too long.

We had great fun, great arguments, and especially great dinners.  Our favorite restaurant was a Chinese place in London.  We would order so much food the waiter always questioned whether we really wanted it all.  We always said yes, and yes, we ate all the food. (And drank a lot of Saki).

During all the years working and living in Europe, and John and Donna's moving around the world, and finally both families ending up in Florida, we always stayed in contact and remained close.  

When John and Donna got married in London, John asked me to walk his mother down the aisle. I knew then our friendship was strong. Our friendship with John and Donna is what friendships are about.

My interactions with John were through the many engagements we worked on together with Celerant and Hitachi.
 I will remember him as an individual always very focused on the task at hand, but also always ready to share from his vast experience. His big smile always present.
At the end of the work day, a good dinner,  lots of laughter, and a measured glass of white wine to  help unwind and be ready for the next day.
I too, as many others here, have learned a lot from him, and even though we have not worked together in a while, it is as if we finished an engagement yesterday. 
I will miss you John, you leave a big unfilled void. So long …
My deepest condolences to his family,

First met John and Donna on the Pickleball court. Between games we would talk while resting in the bleachers . Over a relatively short I realized there was an interesting duality to John; on the pickleball court John was intense.  Off the court, John was always ready to have fun and enjoy good times, good food and a glass or two of wine. If life was a grape, John would squeeze every drop of juice from it. 
When I think of John, that’s how I’ll remember him, and I’ll smile, and miss him.

I was on the Patient and Family Council with John and his wife Donna for a number of years. Pre-COVID, we used to meet in person at Sylvester Cancer Center and had time to get to know one another. He was always positive and had good ideas on how we (as a team of patients and healthcare professionals) could improve patient care for cancer patients. I enjoyed our conversations and learned a great deal from him.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I still tell the story of living in the 5 story walk-up in Brussels with you on the next floor up! John used hate going up all those stairs:)
I remember John as such a good person always with a smile on his face. He will be missed. Please accept my condolences. 

I love seeing these pictures of John and his family. Donna, Alexandra, and Matthew - your husband and father was a true inspiration to me and my life. I never had a chance to tell him (or fully thank him for) how much his mentorship and guidance developed me into who I am today.

I’ll never forget how he could be so serious and then crack that smile of his. Thank you John. You will alway have a special place in my heart.

Oh John!! I hate to see you go! Such a wonderful man to work with!! I still tell the fogo de chao story and laugh still just as hard. Thank you my friend for all the support and good memories. Prayers for your family. 

I remember John very fondly.  I learned much from him in Management Consulting.  He was a strong and fair leader, straight forward and insightful.  I owe a good deal of my career success to his mentoring.

I had the pleasure of working with, and for, John at Celerant and Hitachi for 15 years. He was a man of great intelligence and insight, direct and honest in expression and founded in integrity. I learned a tremendous amount from him, but most of all I will remember him as one of the true gentlemen of our profession - a rare but valued quality in my view. 
My sympathies to his family, and may we all remember him as fondly as he deserves.

I worked closely with John Robinson for many years while learning from and appreciating the value of his mentorship.  John was highly respected by the business and Client Leadership Teams.  John operated at an unparalleled level of integrity, work ethic, intellectual approach, base of knowledge.
My wife Daphne and I shared wonderful times through the years with John and Donna, touring the wineries in Kelowna / BC interior region, as well separately vising sites in the Las Vegas region.  We immensely enjoyed our time with John and Donna, having a lot of fun and wonderful experiences  that we will cherish fondly !

May John rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to family and friends !

John was a generous host whose curiosity about his surroundings made him an outstanding travelling companion and friend. Key West was an unforgettable treat for me that I will always cherish. Thanks for so many wonderful memories John. Rest in peace dear friend.
