Joyce is survived by her three children, Marilee (Mark Boerger), John Musser III (Corinne), and Amanda Mitchell as well as her five grandchildren Brittany, Harper, Riley, Kyle, and Skyler. She is preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Williams and Carole Foland, and her loving husband, John F. Musser Jr..

Joyce was born April 19, 1938 to Thomas Clark and Margarite DuRocher in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Visitation Catholic School which held a special place in her heart. Joyce married John on September 1, 1962 and they adopted two children, Marilee and John. In 1978, they moved to South Florida to be closer to family. In 1981, Joyce was blessed to give birth to Amanda. Joyce and John spent 53 wonderful years of marriage together surrounded by those who loved them dearly.

Joyce is remembered as a sweet, loving, and gentle woman who was best known for her laugh, upbeat personality, and for being a support system for those who needed it most. She always encouraged others to live a life of happiness. We take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and surrounded by light.

Friends and family may gather to celebrate Joyce’s life on March 15 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 16 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 200 N. University Dr. Plantation, FL followed by The Rite of Committal at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, North Lauderdale, FL
