I had Mrs. Mcmurry when I was in the 4th grade in 1990 and she was a wonderful teacher. I saw her at Walmart in copperas cove a couple of years ago and she was in a Walmart motor chair and we were just talking but she will b missed. Rip

My name is Dana Meredith,  I just wanted to say Rhonda MacMurray was the teacher of my son Bryan Meredith in the fourth grade.  She was a wonderful teacher to my son Bryan.  She left such a impact on him that they were friends on face book and  stayed in contact with him by even calling him quite often.  I have spoke to her also on the phone different times. She was a very kind, thoughtful, caring person.  She would send boxes and boxes of school supplies to Bryan for my granddaughter.  I truly appreciate all the conversations she had with my son,  he thought highly of her.                                                                                                                                          My condolences go out to her loved ones, she will always be a treasure to keep in my sons heart and also mine

Rhoda was my 4th grade teacher many years ago in the 1990s when i lived in Texas. She was hands down the best teacher i ever had! In the past year our paths crossed over facebook and have spent many hours talking about past and future.  My dearest condolences to her dad and sisters. She was such an amazing person. 3302605531

Rhoda was a true friend and awesome teacher. She took me under her wing my first year teaching. Rhoda guided me through that year and many more. I will be forever great full for her knowledge she so willingly shared with others. Rest In Peace Rhoda , you are dearly missed. 




Rhoda was a wonderful teacher and friend!  She loved her students and provided supplies for them every year on her own without a thought.  She loved being a teacher and was the hardest working person I knew.  She spent countless hours working on school work and also helping others with technology, documents, lesson plans and activities for the kids.  Rhoda was patient and so organized with everything she did.   Her attention to detailed amazed me and had incredible insight and wisdom.   Rhoda was a true friend and will be missed beyond words.  I will miss hearing her tell me about her trips to Walmart and spending countless hours there because she'd run into former students and co-workers.  May you rest in peace, my dear friend.   You will be missed by many and never forgotten.  

My son loved Rhoda as his 5th grade teacher. She is his favorite!! Rhoda was an awesome coworker. We always had a great time getting ready for the Chinese New Year parade at school!!!

Rhoda taught all three of my children and was an amazing teacher.  I got to know her more as a co-worker and loved her spunk.  I enjoyed and will miss our hour long talks in Walmart where we would visit every time we saw each other. She continued caring for my kids and gave me encouragement about becoming a teacher. I hope I touch as many as she did and can be even half the teacher she was. She was truly an inspiration and we will miss her.

I was honored to work with Rhoda for 20 + years. What an amazing friend and teacHer!!  She will be missed.  She had great ideas and loved her students as her own children!!  Prayers for her family and friends. 

I wish to express my sincere condolences to Rhoda’s family.  We worked together at Miss Jewell Elementary for over 10 years.  She was an inspiring teacher, a wit that was unmatched and a wonderful friend.  So many good times with her and the great group of teachers and staff!  I pray her body is at rest and she joins Michael and the rest of her family.  I will miss you friend. 

I am so sorry to hear of Rhoda's passing. She was THE MOST organized, wonderful teacher I ever knew! Just from her chair she could control a whole room of 4th graders! I was lucky enough to have worked with such a special lady. Fly with the Angels!!

Rhoda was the very first teacher I met at Fairview my first day teaching. I went in all gung-ho and told her what she needed to do. She looked at me and said me”No let me tell you what you are going to do.”   I didn’t argue with her ever after that moment.  She was an amazing person, she became a great friend who gave me sound advice, and a pretty awesome teacher.   The world lost a great educator and friend.  Prayers for all the lives that she touched.  She will not be forgotten.
