Michael Allen Grant

Mike was born on April 10, 1962 in Inglewood, California to parents Everett Grant and Selma Koenig.

Mike retired from his service in the United States Army in 1998 where he was a Tanker. He proudly served in the Gulf War. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling with Patricia, his wife of 38 years. They enjoyed visiting several national and state parks, casinos, going on as many cruises as his wife would allow, and spending time with friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, and proud Opa. He fiercely loved and protected his family, doing everything he could for them. He loved spending time with his favorite grandson, Logan, and teaching him the proper (and sometimes improper) way of using tools. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with those around him. In fact, with anyone that would listen.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Grant of Copperas Cove; daughters; Pamela Grant, Teresa Grant, and Kristen Frazier; son-in-law; Zachary Frazier; grandson; Logan Thomas Frazier; mother; Selma Grant; brothers; Steve Grant, Cecil Grant, Josh Grant, and Aaron Grant; sister; Lea Sheridan. He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Grant.

He is loved and will be missed.

A Graveside Service will take place on October 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. A informal Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 Noon in the Copperas Cove City Park at the pavilion.
