Mrs. Barker saw beauty everywhere she looked; she collected many small treasures that were overlooked by others. She had a keen eye for a bargain and enjoyed many a hour mining the local thrift stores for the beautiful things she found, she pleased herself and others and shared her worldly treasures with those who were in need in her community.
During her long career as an educator, Mrs. Barker lived her belief that “ A teacher affects eternity; she can never tell where her influence stops.” As a teacher, Mrs. Linda Barker held an honored place in her community. What she gave of herself goes on in the lives of her family, her friends, and her students.
