Born April 12, 1937 in Akron, Ohio.
Graduated St. Mary’s High School in 1956. Leaving straight for the USAF. He trained for an illustrious career in Air Traffic Control and used these skills in Okinawa, Japan. Upon returning to the states he was hired by the FAA. His career spanned 36 years and included locations at Washington National Airport, Cleveland Hopkins Airport, Burke Lakefront Arpt., Cuyahoga Cy ARPT., Chicago O’Hare Arpt., Great Lakes Regional Office, Milwaukee Tower, FAA Liaison to the CAG in Madrid, Spain and finally the Southwest Regional Office in Fort-Worth, TX. After a brief retirement he took his expertise to Southwest Airlines where they created a new department. During his 13 year tenure, he created money saving routes in several cities, scouted new locations, represented numerous pilots in air traffic events, conducted training seminars, and negotiated with NATCA. When he retired from Southwest Airlines he was presented the highest award given from Herb Kelleher. He spent a brief time in Columbia TN but returned to Texas.

Preceded in death by his wife, the love of his live, Penny; sisters Catherine Ann Williams, Susan Underwood, and Sarah Porter, Nephew Kevin Porter, and Parents Patrick and Catherine.
