John T. Cauley Jr., 67, of Coppell, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2016 after a long illness.
His Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 17th in the Chapel of Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell. Burial will be in the DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
John was born in Henderson. Texas on May 4, 1949. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War and tested pilots in F-4 cockpit trainers. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas and worked as a technical writer for 25 years. John was a lifelong ham radio operator and amateur astronomer.
John is survived by: his wife, Linda; daughter, Crystal Ledet, her husband Nolan and son Trey Cauley; sister, Sue Cauley; and Linda’s children Colleen Kelly and Ryan Kelly and grandson Dylan Lofton.
